organizations listed below offer venues for their artists'
success, outreach for children and community education

| Buenaventura
Arts Gallery
- This dynamic non-profit
organization of visual artists and friends of the arts
state their goals as being to improve their work, to heighten awareness for the visual arts in the
community, support all beneficial art activities and create a nucleus of support and to sponsor competitions, offer encouragement and
incentive to talented art students through scholarships or other means. |

| Focus
on the Masters - The
goal of Focus On The Masters is to demonstrate the full
significance of the arts to society by bringing highly
accomplished artists to the forefront of the community.
They also provide a youth program, Learning to See, which
is designed to make fine art come alive for adolescents. |

The
Rubicon Theater Company - This non-profit
organization has their stated mission to present
high-quality professional theater for the entertainment,
enrichment and education of the community. Founded in
November of 1998 by Karyl Lynn Burns and James O’Neil,
this theatre is well-known for its high caliber
productions. |

The
Ventura Chamber Music Festival - This
critically acclaimed organization says that their goal
is to "present music programs of international caliber in historic, architecturally unique settings in the City of San
Buenaventura." You will find their performances
at such beautiful places as the Religious Science Church
and the Mission.

Ventura County Potters Guild - The Ventura County
Potters Guild was founded in 1957. They are a non-profit
organization formed to provide a forum for local potters
to share their experiences and knowledge of clay. The
Ventura County Potters Guild gets together once or twice a
year for a show and sale. |

Foundation for the Arts - This
organizations stated goal is to build a Village for the
Arts in Ventura's Downtown Cultural District for Theatre,
Music, Dance, and Visual Art. In the meantime they
provide an excellent website that provides a central
database for arts related events in the area. Their
vision of the downtown district, by the way, is wonderful. |
