One of the two best holes-in-the-wall in Simi Reviewer: Steven Rosen from Simi Valley, CA This place is fantastic. Awesome greek food (forget about Daphne's) at great prices. My two kids (one is a picky eater) absolutely devour the gyros and rice. The hands-on owners are always friendly and whether you dine-in or take-out everyhting is always hot, fresh, and extremely tasty. Greek House and La Louisianne are the two best places for authentic ethnic foods in Simi Valley.

Though the atmosphere inside is always friendly and seems to be filled with regulars. Our favorites are the lamb kabob dinner cooked medium rare (and they get it right) and the fried calamari is amazing. Great people! Simi needs more non chain restaurants and ethnic food. You haven't had hummus and pita like this! Reviewer: Melanie Dabu from Simi Valley Every ingredient is carefully selected by the chef/owner down to the pita bread and olive oil. I dare you to find a more delicious sampling of hummus and pita. All the other fare is no-nonesense but delicious - as if you stepped into your Greek aunt's kitchen and stuck your fork into her pot while it was still on the stove. If you're lucky, you might even find them actually making their baklava fresh...drizzling it with honey. Beware, however - this is a family-run joint so their operating hours are, well, subject to change if they feel like it :-)

It's a little, "hole in the wall" place run by the family who owns it, but they have become friends who always make us feel as family! If you have eaten at the rest, now go eat at the BEST!
